PAKENHAM was forced to abandon its Saturday race meet because of the state of the track.
Officials made the call early on Saturday morning after heavy rainfall last week left the track in a bad condition and unsuitable for any racing.
There were seven races on the card.
The next proposed meeting at Pakenham is scheduled for September 12.
