A resurgent Hampton Park shot to fifth on the Casey Cardinia Football League ladder after defeating the more fancied Keysborough by 15 points in wintry conditions on Saturday.
The come-from-behind win was inspired by Matt Shorey with a best-on-ground performance with five goals. Kevin McLean played an equally important role with three valuable goals.
The Redbacks trailed by seven points going into the last quarter and overran the Kookaburras to win 10.10 (70) to 8.7 (55).
Matt Whatman and Lyndon Fredericks triggered the last-quarter heroics, with the Redbacks kicking four goals from nine scoring shots to the Kookaburras' solitary goal for the quarter.
Tyson King was Keysborough's best with three goals.
Narre Warren cemented second spot on the ladder with a commanding 31-point victory over Tooradin in a high-scoring game.
The Magpies set up the win with a seven goals to two opening term and by half-time stretched the lead to 27 points.
Tooradin improved in the second half, booting eight goals to Narre's nine, but it wasn't enough to bridge the gap and they lost 15.9 (99) to 21.4 (130). Jackson Parker booted five goals for the Pies and Brett Evans three while Tim Werner and Chris Collins were dominant around the ground.
Matt Davey continued his outstanding form for the Seagulls with six goals and was ably supported by Ben Disney and Beau Miller. Devon Meadows remains a game outside the five after scrambling home against Rythdale Officer Cardinia.
ROC led by 18 points at quarter-time, by two points at the long interval, and by four points at the last change.

The Wickers had plenty of chances but just couldn't up the tempo. Skipper Andrew Tuck and Steve Finlayson were the best of the Wickers.
