CASEY will have a day in the spotlight at the home of football during the first round of the 2012 AFL season.
Melbourne plays Brisbane at the MCG on March 31 and Casey's long association with the Demons will be highlighted at the game.
The partnership will be promoted on the scoreboard, on the banner and in the Football Record.
Casey mayor Sam Aziz will toss the coin and Casey children will be out on the ground playing in the little league at half-time.
Cr Aziz is encouraging residents to show their support for the Demons at the City Of Casey Round, which showcases and promotes the city across Victoria and Australia.
"Through the 30-year partnership agreement with the City of Casey, the club undertakes a number of fantastic community programs throughout Casey and, more widely, promotes the city to a larger audience," he said.
"In addition to the benefits of having an elite level team training at Casey Fields in Cranbourne East, Casey is extremely proud to have Melbourne Football Club delivering a wide range of programs and initiatives locally that provide many benefits to the Casey community."
At each Melbourne home game played at the MCG, a limited number of free seats are available to children from Casey schools, community groups and local sports clubs.
This has been expanded to 1,000 tickets for the City of Casey Round.
"A number of activities are being planned to ensure this is a great family day out for the community," Cr Aziz said.
The game between Melbourne and Brisbane begins at 1.40pm.
