Big day for young 'veterans' as Magpies thrash Cranbourne

NARRE Warren's Medhi Daoud and Joel Black celebrated their 100th games in style as the Magpies defeated Cranbourne Gold by 91 points in round 12 of the Dandenong and District Junior Football League.

The two under 15-2 'veterans' were also among the goals in Narre's 17.20(122) to 5.1(31) win. Joel booted a goal and Medhi two.

Under-15 premier duo Jordan Muzzolini and Laurence Kazinoti also notched up their 100 games with a win, defeating Beaconsfield 10.11(71) to 3.5(23).

Under 16 1s were no match for Beaconsfield, losing 3.7(25) to 15.13(103) while the under 16 2s also lost to Beaconsfield, 9.13(67) to 15.9(99). Bradley Kovak booted six goals in the under 14 premier team's win against Noble Park, 16.8(114) to 7.6(48).

He was ably assisted up forward by Darairo Anthony with five goals. Matt Scarlett booted five goals, and Liam Ericksen four, in the under 14 blue's win over Narre Foxes, 22.17(149) to 3.1(19). Jim Wilson also booted three. Jake Van De Lopp kicked two goals in the under 10 white's win over Beaconsfield Blue, 7.10(52) to 0.4(4); under 13 blue defeated Hampton Park 13.14(92) to 2.2(14).

Under 12 white won against Beaconsfield; under 9 blue defeated North Dandenong by 70 points; under 9 white defeated Fountain Gate 56-7; while under 11 white beat Narre Lions 31-16.
