UPPER Beaconsfield stalwart John Simpson plays a ball off the front foot. It was a tough day for Upper after Pakenham dismissed the Maroons for 140 in their West Gippsland Cricket Association clash.

In reply Pakenham was 2-48. In other matches Tooradin knocked up 8-262 with Officer 2-31 in reply.

Kooweerup cracked 5-384 in its match against Pakenham Upper-Toomuc while Beaconsfield was 3-6 chasing Cardinia's 188.
