DANDENONG Rangers figured prominently in the under-18 men's and women's teams announced by Basketball Victoria for the national championships in NSW next month.
Ten Rangers were picked in the two Victorian Metropolitan teams, which are aiming to make it four Australian championships in a row.
Venky Jois and Owen Odigie were selected in the men's team, and Lucas Barker was named as emergency.
Aimie Clydesdale, Rosie Fadljevic, Carley Mijovic, Tenaya Phillips and Jacinta Vandenberg, were in the women's team, along with Georgi Lovelace and Kiara Phillips as emergencies.
Former Rangers WNBL assistant coach Wayne Pollock is head coach of the women, who have won 21 out of the 44 titles contested since 1966.
The men have won 22 of the 53 championships played since 1954.
