Yummy meets healthy in chef's recipes

CHICKEN escallops with herb spaghetti and ratatouille sauce or harissa spiced fish on coconut rice was on the menu at Pakenham Consolidated Primary School last week.

Casual chef Erik Jorgensen was on hand to tell parents and the school community how to cook healthy dishes, such as a hearty chicken soup made from home-made stock.

The event was held at four primary schools in Cardinia Shire as part of the state's Go For Your Life program.
