Woman foils two brazen intruders at Pakenham house

21 Feb, 2012 12:00 AM
POLICE are appealing for witnesses to an incident where a woman surprised two men outside her Pakenham home last month.

Investigators said a 23-year-old woman was at her house in Lisa Avenue on January 30 when she saw an unknown man in her backyard about noon.

The woman confronted the man, who fled on foot.

She then noticed another unknown man at the front of the property, near the garage, who was allegedly armed with a large metal bar.

The offender threatened the woman verbally and then fled the scene.

No one was injured.

Both male offenders are described as Caucasian and aged 18 to 20. One of the men is described as about 170 centimetres tall, with a solid build with tanned skin. He was wearing a blue singlet, denim shorts and a baseball cap.

The other male is described as about 190 centimetres with olive skin and short brown hair. He was wearing a white singlet and denim jeans.

Police have released this image of a man that they believe may be able to assist with the investigation.
