Walk on the historic side

30 Jun, 2008 06:15 PM
BERWICK'S history has moved into the 21st century with the launch of a CD to partner the Hands of History Berwick Heritage walking tour.

Casey Council and the Casey-Cardinia Library Corporation produced the CD as a way of better promoting Berwick's past.

While on the three-kilometre walking tour, people can use the CD to identify buildings and monuments of historical interest.

"This CD gives a much wider section of the community the opportunity to take part in the walk,'' mayor Janet Halsall said.

The Hands on History brochure is free and the CD is available for $5 from the council's customer service centres on 9705 5200.
