PAKENHAM detectives charged a 16-year-old Pakenham boy and man with robbery and assault on Monday last week.
Detective Sergeant Phillip Jury said the 21 yearold had been remanded in custody, to front court at a later date.
Shop targeted
The front door window of the Butterfly Effect shop in Pakenham was smashed with a rock so burglars could gain entry to the premises.
Detective Sergeant Phillip Jury said the intruders rifled through the shop but nothing was stolen.
"They ransacked the place and searched drawers for money," he said.
The break-in took place about 5am August 21 at Treloar Lane.
In another incident, burglars gained entry into a house in Kilvington Drive, Emerald, and escaped with $7000 worth of property, including jewellery, and a GPS receiver.
Detective Sergeant Phillip Jury said that on August 19, sometime between 8.30am and 1pm, the intruders entered the house but had left by the time the owners got home.
Burglars drop in
Burglars forced a window to gain entry into a house in Quamby Road, Guys Hill, between 8.30am and 3.30pm on August 20. The thieves escaped with property valued at $5500. Items stolen included a video camera, computer and computer games.
Vandal rampage
Vandals went on a a rampage and damaged construction vehicles on a subdivision site at the bottom end of McGregor Road at Blue Horizons Estate.
The vandals smashed windows, machinery and interfered with five fire extinguishers.
