RUDE and impatient Casey bus drivers need to be trained in customer relations, a Casey resident has said.
Marg Keesman contacted the Journal after reading an article on the treatment of some passengers using bus services.
Ms Keesman said local bus drivers were impatient and didn't listen.
"I live in the country and use the V/Line bus to Dandenong and can use this zone two ticket on all services, but I have [been] told to buy a ticket, [and have been] threatened to not [be] allowed to travel on the bus."
Joy, of Narre Warren, who did not want her surname printed, said she had witnessed passengers being treated badly.
"I catch the bus regularly to Narre Warren North ... one day the driver took off so fast, an elderly lady went flying backwards."
Joy said she complained to Grenda Transit about the incident and they offered to pay for any medical expenses the woman might have incurred.
However, another Casey resident wrote to the Journal praising local bus drivers.
"I have found the bus drivers on Grenda's polite, courteous and very helpful," Helen Millard wrote.
She said one driver had gone out of his way to take a pregnant woman to the hospital and to drop an elderly woman nearer home.
