Tax talks continue

LOBBY group Taxed Out will hold a public meeting on a proposed tax on properties in Melbourne's growth areas.

The State Government is proposing a growth areas infrastructure contribution of $95,000 a hectare on buyers of property in such areas, including parts of Devon Meadows, Clyde North, Officer and Pakenham.

The meeting is at Oakwood Riding School, corner Thompsons Road and Smiths Lane in Clyde North, at 7.30pm on Wednesday.
