CASEY will soon see the roll-out of a new information bus, which will provide youth with up-to-date information about key community support services.
On a visit to Kambrya College in Berwick recently, Youth Affairs Minister James Merlino announced that the State Government would contribute $70,000 towards the project.
"Following feedback from the young people that use the service, the new bus will feature the latest in information technology and computer equipment and will be better equipped to cater for people with a disability.
"The bus will be staffed by qualified youth workers and will operate at least 40 hours a week and expand its reach to young people, especially those in isolated areas," Mr Merlino said.
