CENTRAL WARD
ROBERT Campbell says he aimed to address rising utility bills, lack of community services, social isolation, and climate change. "My priorities are people, the local economy and the environment."
Kate Lempriere says she aims to reduce debt, help families and seniors, deliver bus-to-train routes, increase parking and improve roads and footpaths.
Collin Ross says he will bring a strong work ethic to the council. "My main issue is to reduce rate increases and debt, improve local services, roads, parking, train stations and high schools."
George Blenkhorn says his main concern is getting ratepayers value for money. He also wants to stop any increase in poker machines and to increase car parking in Pakenham and Beaconsfield.
Bill Ronald says he is proud to have delivered on all previous election promises. "In two terms, I've delivered on the reopening of the Pakenham pool and the provision of a motosports facility.
Brett Owen says he stands for improved community safety, establishing a dedicated council youth facility and additional opportunities for youth, new recreational facilities, increased car parking in the CBD and railway stations and appropriate planning
for the growth corridor.
Jeff Lempriere says his wife Kate's council role has provided insight into issues important to the community and to quality of life. "I will require savings to be made within the administration, limit rate rises and increase council community services, increase parking and demand faster delivery of the Lakeside train station."
Tracy Montgomery says reducing the council debt and improving services were a priority. "There is a severe lack of services and this will become more of an issue as the population increases."
Kate Hands did not respond.
