Police plea for missing woman

28 Apr, 2008 03:26 PM
POLICE are appealing to a Doveton woman who has been missing along with her five children since April 11 to let them know if they are all safe and well.

The woman and her children, aged one to 11 years, were last seen by her husband at their Paperbark Street home. Constable Kieran Rodgers, of the Endeavour Hills police, said the children did not attend school that day.

"Around 1pm she told her husband they were all going out to Endeavour Hills shopping centre."

The woman had some money on her and a credit card but has not accessed the credit card and only withdrawn a modest amount of cash.

Sergeant John Blackburn, of the Endeavour Hills police, said the length of time the woman and her children had been missing with no contact was of concern to her family.

"At this stage we don't hold any grave concerns for her safety, but her husband is concerned for her and their children's welfare and would like her to contact him."

The woman left her home in a 1979 Yellow Ford Wagon and has contacts in Rosebud and Shepparton.

Anyone with information can call Constable Kieran Rodgers on 97097666.
