Lifestyle show set to draw a big crowd

MORE than 10,000people are expected to attend the annual Pakenham Home Lifestyle Show from October 3-5.

Proudly sponsored by The Journal, the three-day event will be held at the new Cardinia Life leisure centre in Pakenham, showcasing home improvement products, concepts, innovations and practical ideas for homes.

The headline act will be celebrity chef Gabriel Gate.

Exhibition manager Jeff Leech expected the show to continue to attract large audiences.

"It is exactly the sort of show that people in the Melbourne city area have enjoyed for years," he said.

The show opens at 2pm on Friday, October 3. Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for concession and children enter for free. Parking is free at the venue.
