Learning goes world class

25 May, 2009 10:25 AM
THE world of learning got wider last week for pupils at Strathaird Primary School.

Using the theme Our World, pupils at the Narre Warren South school celebrated Education Week and took part in activities that taught them about different cultures.

The classrooms opened for the day to parents and family.

Teacher Kylie Elzink said she loved watching third and fourth graders learn about the states of Australia.

Fellow teachers Laura Mills organised the event and all the fun activities.

As part of the fun and learning, pupils 'travelled' with a 'passport' and were given a stamp and sticker for each country and activity they completed.
