CASEY residents are invited to offer suggestions on the refurbishment of 13 existing playgrounds, as part of the 2007-08 Casey capital works program.
The council is asking families who use the playgrounds to advise what kind of features they would like to see in their local facility, Casey's manager parks and reserves Trevor Griffin said.
He added that playgrounds formed an important part of a community's lifestyle.
"They offer places for social interaction, such as family picnics, but they also support healthy lifestyles by encouraging children to climb, swing, slide, balance, rock and spin."
