MEMORIES will be relived at Sandown's annual In2 Collectables Retro Fest this Sunday.
Collectors, enthusiasts and sellers from all over Victoria will converge on Sandown Racing and Entertainment Complex to hunt for treasures old, new and rare.
"There's a good chance you'll find it here," organiser Aubrey Keyt said.
"Grown-ups will find collecting the ideal way to rekindle memories as they discover a lost childhood toy, like a teddy, doll or tin toy.
"It can also be very rewarding, as collectables almost always increase in value over the years.
"Giving a collectable to a child may spark a life-long interest in collecting that can be very rewarding and educational."
The carnival will also help the home decorator with original, genuine items like china, porcelain, pottery, glassware, kitchenalia and other household items.
Bargains, price reductions and sale items will be available in 20th century collectables including dolls, teddy bears, tin toys, movie, music, sports and science fiction memorabilia, personality autographs, comics, coins, stamps, die-cast models, Olympics, militaria, toy soldiers, tools, Australiana, jewellery, advertising signs, books and swap and trade cards.
The gates open at 9am. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for children and seniors and $15 for a combined pass for two adults and three children.
