Getting mums back on court

27 Apr, 2009 09:52 AM
MUMS can serve up an ace at Harkaway tennis court from today.

Tennis Victoria's popular Mums' Tennis Program offered at the courts for the first time.

Coach Jay Salter said it was a great way to coax mothers to get back into the game.

"At only $15 for the five sessions it's very cheap."

Mums are still welcome to join, until May 29.

A Tiny Tots program for 3-5 year olds will held at the same time as the mums' program. The cost is $10 for mothers who take part.

The program is funded by the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing.

Details: Jay Salter, 0438 506 957, www.tennis.com.au/vic or Tennis Victoria on 8420 8420.
