RANGES WARD

Graeme Legge says he will advocate for reasonable rates, debt reduction, improved roads and a greater focus on environmental matters.

"These issues are especially important in Ranges Ward along with the provision of experienced emergency management planning. I stand for the needs of youth, for the concerns of seniors and for the provision of ready access for disability."

Linda Hamilton says the biggest issues are not just local. "We will have to cope with water, food and energy prices rising while the climate, employment prospects and the economy will become less predictable." Her focus for Ranges Ward is on implementing future town plans and ensuring that the council observes residents' wishes. "I will work for positive and effective decisions on water, energy efficiency and public transport, and will support local business innovators to work the new green economy."

Ed Chapwin did not respond.
