Casey road toll second highest

THE City of Casey recorded the second-highest number of road deaths in Victoria during 2008, second only to the Mornington Peninsula's 14.

Statistics from the Transport Accident Commission show that 12 people died on Casey roads from January 1 to December 31.

The fatalities included three drivers, three passengers, three pedestrians and two motorcyclists.
