BUDDING artists displayed their talents at Cardinia Shire's inaugural National Youth Week art competition earlier this month.
Twelve young artists presented 2D and 3D pieces including photographs, drawings, paintings, ceramics and abstract works with prizes awarded in three categories.
The exhibition was judged by local artists Tara Kingston and Peter Biram together with council's youth services co-ordinator Emma Firth.
The winners were:
2D 13-17 years: First: Leah Adams; Second: Timothy Mathers; Third: Kirsten-Amy Eyre
2D 18 - 25 years: First: Amy Walsh; Equal second: Aaron Walsh and Jacqui Stewart.
3D 13-17 years: First: Linda Lewis; Second: Amy Williams; Third: Zoe Scutter.
