Broadband boost

20 Feb, 2012 01:15 PM
About 200 more homes in Narre Warren South can get access to fixed-line broadband after a Telstra upgrade of the internet infrastructure. The ADSL2+ 'top hat' installed earlier this month at the street cabinet in Terrace Gardens is the second improvement to Narre Warren's internet services this year. The cabinet servicing the Oatlands estate in Ernst Wanke Road had the same upgrade in January. Vicky Allen, Telstra area general manager for Melbourne's south east, said the 'top hat' infrastructure was a quick and efficient way to provide ADSL2+ speeds to more homes and businesses.
