A PROUD clan flanked Endeavour Hills great-grandmother Elsie Gelmi as she blew the candles out for her 101st birthday last Thursday. Ms Gelmi has survived four husbands, and has five children, 28 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She celebrated at her daughter Rosie Mifsud's house in Beaconsfield.
