Last week, Westfield Fountain Gate fashion stylist Lucy Kiraly made up outfits for racegoers Naomi Wood and Heather George to highlight this season's fashion.

She said clashing colours were hot this season.

"The look is to contrast bold colours - if you match them too much it is last season.

"With Naomi's outfit, who would have ever thought that putting red, pink and yellow together would work? But here it does. You don't, however, need to go overboard."

She said the other main factor was to dress to suit your body shape and age.

"When you're a mum and the body shape changes you need clothes that camouflage you a little bit better. So I've gone with the bold, statement trench. The slim-line dress, v-neck and crossover is also very flattering on the bust."

So what did the models think of their new look? "It feels really good," Heather said.

"It makes me feel really special. It is not something I would have chosen for myself. I'm normally a jeans and T-shirt person. But now it has opened my eyes to what is out there if you are game to try it."

Naomi says the experience had taught her a few fashion lessons.

"I've definitely learnt how to dress more appropriately to make the most of what you have and how to hide what you want hidden."
