Almost 350 children and 200 adults came to the club's finale, hosted by the Casey Cardinia Library Corporation at Casey's civic chambers on January 20.
Wagner spoke about being an author and writing the popular The Undies and Maxx Rumble series. Beginning in December, more than 900 children aged 5-16 registered for the club and read almost 9700 books over the school holidays.
Of the children who registered, more than 450 read 10 books or more.
